The JJ Metta Foundation provides comprehensive assistance to children in need by supporting education in basic literacy and hygiene skills, as well as creating awareness of music and other cultural arts, thereby enabling access to a promising future.

The driving principle behind the foundation is a commitment to individual and societal responsibility for providing underprivileged children with compassion, hope, care, food, clothing, counseling and health care.

This foundation is dedicated to the memory of JAYANTH CHARYA who left this earth on March 5, 2003. The purpose of this memorial foundation is to honor his memory and to help needy children.

We are seeking funds to construct a school in Hyderabad, India,  where we will seek to educate impoverished and needy children.

This Is Our Promise:

  • Every child receives free education. No Admission fee, No Tuition Fee, No Monthly Fee.
  • Every child should have the opportunity to attain a better future.
The criteria to admit students are simple:
    • They should have the desire to study, and a thirst for knowledge.
    • Lack of money should not hinder their progress. Keeping this in view, the memorial is planning to fully subsidize a limited number of students (based on funds available).
  • The students will be screened for under-privileged status, and the ability and interest to participate in the school.
